Blue Voyage

WHAT IS GULET?
What is a gulet? A small sea craft. A refined version of a traditional fishing and cargo vessel used by fisherman and sponge divers to transport their catch. Romance enclosed: ravishing sunsets, splashes of sea-water and seagulls astern. A cabin to dry your hair and have a drink to get warm after the sunset. Just a pastime for skippers and skipperesses of fifteen! Is it? Nothing of the kind.
In the world of yachts watercrafts are clearly divided into castes, and the Gulets are the hand-made charter yachts. Their decks are equipped with many comforts: several bedrooms with en-suite toilets and showers, a saloon with fine wines and branded strong drinks, a dining area at the rear deck, and sun tanning area on the front deck. These are the yachts of comfort and relaxation. Aboard such a yacht one can go on a voyage, celebrate jubilees or just have a rest.
Building such a beauty usually costs quite a sum and lasts for several years. That’s why along with the new yachts the old ones keep on furrowing the seas. They get some renewal at the yards, with restoration of interior and other alterations.

BLUE CRUISE
Blue cruise is a discovery of Turkey's Turquoise Coast on a yachting holiday unlike any other. Many exotic beaches and picturesque islands are difficult and sometimes impossible to access from land, and the only way to see their intimate sights is to go by sea.
Only the Blue Cruise will give you the chance to explore the numerous bays and coves between the ports of Bodrum, Marmaris, Gocek, Fethiye and Antalya on Turkey’s Aegean and southern coasts, presenting a varied cruising opportunity. Tranquil anchorages contrast with lively resorts, the bustle of the bazaar and the rich history of bleached ancient cities – all set against a landscape of breathtaking scenery. The intended route should be thought over still at home, because you should outline it in your chartering documents.
Meals on board are especially good and freshly prepared, including a variety of fresh salads, fruits, grilled meats, seafood, local fish and Turkish specialties. Afternoon tea is served with biscuits or cakes. You have the option to include full board meals for your group at the time of booking.

GULET CHARTER
Cabin charter is always an option if you cannot get a group of friends or family together or if this is your first sailing experience. Marin Tour Yachting offers cruises on a shared- yacht basis for singles, couples and small groups.
Swim, snorkel, windsurf, or kayak from gulet. Escape the everyday rigors of life, even cooking! Your breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be ready for you on board. Share this remarkable experience of Blue Voyage with the voyagers who share a love for the sea and adventure.
Hire a cabin on the scheduled Blue Cruise and join the rest of the voyagers. Voyagers on these tours may be from a variety of countries, which only adds to the interest and enjoyment.
Blue Cruise Gulets accommodate 4 - 6 - 8 - 12 – 16 – 18 people. In cabin charters full board meals, crew services, passenger and vessel insurance, and harbour fees are included. Our cabin charters have guaranteed departures from Marmaris and Bodrum and generally run from late April through to October.

CABIN CHARTER CREW
Marin Tour Yachting recognizes that the crew members are also a key to making or breaking a holiday cruise. Therefore, our skippers and sailors undergo rigorous screening and tests as to their ability in leadership before they are accepted as part of our team in order to ensure that they have the right aptitude to perform charter cruises. We only use fully qualified and experienced crew. We have an extensive data base of willing crew members, many of which have sailed with us before. Most of our skippers and crew are Turkish who have an extensive knowledge of cruising grounds and local life.
Your captain will ensure that your cruise moves along at a good pace. He decides on departure times and meal times according to the composition of the group, the day of the week and weather conditions. The captain is responsible for the safety of the vessel and its passengers and has the right to alter the itinerary when necessary. Since the skipper is responsible for everything during the sail, all your requests are to be directed to him. The skipper can accept your invitation for supper or for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; and you, in your part, may ask him to tell you how to steer the yacht, and even try to do any interesting ship work.
Tips to the crew are usually 10 percent of the charter price. Nevertheless, the tip is at your discretion, and the sum may vary subject to your satisfaction with the trip. Just hand in an envelope over to the skipper before coming ashore.
